Edban Watt

Caledonia-Mumford Class of 2020

With each passing year the applicants for the Jim & Anne Dollard Scholarship provide the committee with wonderful examples of talented young people doing great things. As the winner of the Jim & Anne Dollard Scholarship for the Cal-Mum Class of 2020, Edban Watt represents a most remarkable case of a young man's grace and grit producing amazing results. Everyone who recommended Edban talked about a person who managed unique challenges with a smile and consistent effort, never giving in when so many others understandably would.

Edban has been involved with many activities in his school and with his church. As a wrestler or as a volunteer or as a mentor to younger students, Edban has been a leader to his peers and a role model to others. Someone with these talents and these character traits is sure to make a positive impact in the world and that is why the Dollard Foundation is so proud to have this chance to support Edban's future plans. Edban will be attending the University of Rochester this upcoming fall.

Gabriella Piccirilli

Honeoye Falls-Lima Class of 2020

Gabriella Piccirilli is a most deserving winner of the Jim & Anne Dollard Scholarship for the HF-L Class of 2020. Gabi is described as "authentic and comfortable with who she has become" and someone who devotes her time and talent to multiple interests. Her creative talents in the arts are balanced with her deep interest in STEM topics. In fact, she is credited with having created a STEM activity fair for 100+ early elementary students in the district.

Gabi will attend Penn State and will pursue studies that balance her creative and scientific interests. And just like she did in her community with Girl Scouts and LYO, Gabi intends to be actively involved in opportunities to help others. That is just what a Dollard Foundation scholarship winner would naturally do and we are proud to support Gabi.
