Emma Efing

The Jim & Anne Dollard Foundation Scholarship winner in the Caledonia-Mumford Class of 2021 is Emma Efing. Chosen from a large and wonderfully talented group of applicants, Emma's collaborative efforts to help others set her apart. Her references talked about how proactive Emma is when it comes to getting groups to pull on the same rope for the best possible outcome. These traits were always part of her participation in numerous school and community activities like school musicals, HOBY, school band and the Spectrum Club that she founded. Another reference mentioned that Emma is "everybody's cheerleader."

It is these types of qualities that we eagerly seek in the young people chosen for the Dollard Foundation Scholarship and we are proud to help Emma with her next steps. She will be attending Cortland in the fall and plans to be involved with helping others every way she can while she is there. Well done, Emma!

Leah Greenich

Leah Greenich has been chosen to receive the Jim & Anne Dollard Foundation Scholarship for the Honeoye Falls-Lima Class of 2021. The many ways that Leah embodies the guiding principles of the foundation is extraordinary. The list of groups that benefited from Leah's participation and leadership is long: Big Sister, Dimitri House, Foodlink, Sister Cities Youth Group, Ronald McDonald House, Canandaigua Veterans Hospital, Best Buddies and Unified Sports, to name a few. She balanced all of this selfless involvement with outstanding academic achievement, which serves to explain why we are so proud to help her with her plans.

Leah will be attending Nazareth College in the fall where she will study Inclusive Childhood Education and Psychology. She insists that she will remain involved in numerous efforts to help others and we believe her! Well done, Leah!
